He began his message by expressing gratitude to God for His mercies and protection throughout the past year, acknowledging the challenges faced but highlighting the sufficiency of divine grace.
“Let us begin by thanking God Almighty for His infinite mercies and protection that has carried us through the past year.” Mp. Wole Oke thanked God.
Despite the challenges faced, His grace has been sufficient, and for that, we remain eternally grateful.
In his address, Oke expressed profound appreciation to the resilient people of Ijesa North Federal Constituency for their unwavering support during difficult times. He underscored that their trust in his legislative stewardship is vital for shared progress, stating that together, they have navigated challenges and will continue to strive for a brighter future.
Oke commended Osun State Governor His Excellency Asiwaju Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke for his impactful leadership and transformational projects across various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development. He urged Governor Adeleke to extend similar attention to Ijesa North Federal Constituency, where healthcare facilities and educational infrastructure are in urgent need of improvement. He believes that such interventions would significantly enhance development and uplift the constituency.
The parliamentarian also acknowledged the leadership of the Peopleโs Democratic Party (PDP) at both state and local levels, praising their dedication and sacrifices. He called on party members to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of local government elections while promoting principles of fairness, inclusivity, and unity.
